SPLAT is a professional oral care brand creating toothpastes, toothbrushes & dental flosses. Our formulas are developed to support specific needs, from whitening and enamel care to sensitivity, gum health and fresh breath. The idea is simple: professional-level oral care solution for every need that fits naturally into your daily routine.

SPLAT comes from Spirulina platensis, one of the oldest organisms on Earth. The Aztecs used it for health and longevity. It's a microalga that stays genetically stable its whole life. It doesn't mutate. We liked that as a standard to hold ourselves to. Good science with real care that's built to last.

SPLAT products combine bioactive ingredients, natural extracts, enzymes, hydroxyapatite and patented complexes in formulas designed for specific oral care needs. Each product is developed with a focus on effectiveness and a professional standard of care.

SPLAT toothpaste are EU made by STS Holding Group LTD in Gabrovo, Bulgaria.

SPLAT dental flosses are EU made by ProfiMed Srl in Brugherio, Italy.

SPLAT toothbrushes are manufactured by Yangzhou Jinxia Plastic Products & Rubber Co. LTD in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China.

Yes! Most SPLAT toothpaste formulas are vegan and vegetarian-friendly*. The one exception is SPLAT Professional Biocalcium, which contains fish oil.

No. SPLAT products are not tested on animals. We develop our formulas using responsible alternatives to animal testing, while continuing to meet international quality standards.

You can choose from both fluoride and fluoride-free SPLAT toothpastes, depending on your oral care routine and personal preference.

SPLAT products are generally suitable for use with braces and orthodontic constructions. For individual advice, especially after dental treatment or with specific orthodontic needs, your dentist can help you choose the most suitable option.

SPLAT Professional toothpastes are designed for daily use, with low abrasiveness and gentle, effective ingredients. SPLAT Special whitening toothpastes are best used in courses, and can be paired with enamel-care products such as SPLAT Professional Biocalcium. SPLAT toothpastes with fluoride may also be used daily guven the fluoride level does not exceed 1500 ppm.

Sure! You can alternate between different SPLAT toothpastes if you have more than one oral care goal. For example, you might use a sensitivity formula in the morning and a whitening or gum-care formula in the evening. For intensive whitening, we recommend using SPLAT Special whitening toothpastes in courses and pairing them with enamel-supporting care such as SPLAT Professional Biocalcium.

At the moment we do not have products developed for kids specifically, but we are working on it. Meanwhile, SPLAT Professional products are suitable for usage as of 14 years of age. SPLAT Special products are suitable for usage as of 16 years of age.

Yes. SPLAT whitening formulas are designed to help brighten teeth gently. They use natural modern ingredients such as enzymes and gentle abrasives to help remove surface stains without damaging enamel. Depending on the product, visible whitening may reach up to 2 shades after 4 weeks of twice-daily use.

SPLAT Professional is designed for everyday targeted oral care, with formulas for whitening, enamel support, sensitivity, gum health and total care. SPLAT Special focuses on more intensive whitening, combining advanced whitening actives with natural ingredients for more visible results.

For everyday enamel whitening, SPLAT Professional White Plus is a good place to start. It helps whiten enamel by up to 1.5 shades in 4 weeks when used twice daily. Most SPLAT Professional toothpastes also include the SP.White System, so gentle whitening is built into many formulas in the range.

For more intensive whitening, SPLAT Special Extreme White and SPLAT Special Blackwood can help whiten teeth by up to 2 shades in 4 weeks when used twice daily.

SPLAT Professional Biocalcium is designed for enamel remineralisation and restoration. Its formula includes calcium lactate to support remineralisation and hydroxyapatite to help smooth the tooth surface, replenish lost minerals and reduce sensitivity.

For sensitivity, we recommend SPLAT Professional Sensitive or SPLAT Professional Biocalcium. These formulas are designed to support enamel care and help reduce tooth sensitivity.

For gum care, we recommend SPLAT Professional Active, SPLAT Professional Medical Herbs or SPLAT Professional Lavendersept. These formulas include various botanical extracts and essential oils to help support gum health and everyday oral hygiene.

For all-round care, we'd recommend SPLAT Professional Ultracomplex and SPLAT Professional Medical Herbs. They are designed to support remineralisation, gum comfort, enamel restoration, fresh breath, sensitivity reduction and anti-cavity protection in one daily formula.

SP.White System is SPLAT’s gentle whitening system, used across the Professional toothpaste range (except Lavendersept). It helps clean, smooth and polish enamel without scratching it or increasing sensitivity. The system combines papain, an enzyme that helps soften dental plaque, with spherical polishing particles of different sizes to gently remove plaque and surface stains.
